Curt Brimacomb is an experienced manager and computer programmer. As a computer programmer, he developed governmental accounting software for municipalities, school districts, and other governmental agencies for 28 years with DataNow, a computer software business that was purchased by Harris Computer in fall of 2007. 

Most recently, he has expanded his career to include Emergency Medical Service and is currently the EMS Director of the Riggins City ambulance and is attending classes at Lewis-State State College in the Pre-Nursing program.

About Idaho Computer Services, L.L.C./ DataNow: DataNow provided financial management (data maintenance, processing, and reporting) applications for local governments, school districts, and private businesses.

Significant Accomplishments as DataNow Employee:

  • Developed governmental fund accounting software

  • Developed custom software for Check Rite

  • Developed purchasing software

  • Provided conversion from HP3000 COBOL to Fujitsu COBOL

  • Provide continuing upgrades for software using COBOL and Visual Basic

Emergency Medical Services Director 2008-present


About Riggins Ambulance Service: Riggins Ambulance provides emergency medical services for a remote area that includes a 40-mile stretch of US Highway 95 and surrounding State and Federal recreation areas.

Significant Accomplishments as EMS Director:

  • Created Standard Operating Procedures

  • Developed Medical Service Plan with Medical Director (local physician)

  • Developed annual budget

  • Wrote State and Federal grants which were funded

  • Purchase medical equipment and two vehicles

  • Brought ambulance service into compliance with State and Federal requirements

  • Updated ambulance training facility for use with computer-based training

  • Provide initial and continuing training of personnel

  • Schedule volunteer personnel


Store Assistant Manager, Osco Drug 1977-1980


About Osco Drug: Osco Drug was a national drugstore chain, operating stores in the Midwest and Rocky Mountain United States. It has since been purchased by American Stores.

Significant Accomplishments as Assistant Manager:

  • Collaborated with Store Manager to plan and direct all phases of store operation

  • Scheduled employees

  • Created ads

  • Determined effective display for new products and sales

  • Maximized profitability through planning and marketing products

Emergency Medical Technician – Intermediate (Idaho Advanced 2006-present

  • Provide patient care on EMT-A level (volunteer)

  • Coordinate and participate in rescue operations

  • Instructor for EMR, EMT-B, and EMT-I, and CPR classes
